One of CDM's best compilations - chilled & contemplative, but just enough variety to keep it interesting. I highly recommend this. It's hard to have a well-done CD w/o it either being too monotonous or too all-over-the-place. 'Volumen Seis' strikes the ideal balance. The most notable tracks are the nonchalant, 'Distant Invitation' & 'Oh Home' featuring the emotional sounds of Ibiza legend, Cathy Battistessa. If you're not familiar w/this genre or these compilations, 'Volumen Seis' & 'Cinco' are safe bets. Most excellent.
Jose Padilla and his endless repetoire of ambient tracks compiles number six in the Cafe Del Mar series.Overall, I think this album has a better selection of tracks when compared to volume 5, but it's still not dud free. "Distant Invitation" by Rae & Christian, and "The Look of Love" by Dusty Springfield are below average in my opinion. On the other hand, "Homebase" by Dzihan/Kamien is excellent. The others fall somewhere in between.3.5/5 stars for volume 6.

This is a great CD to listen to at work. It's a nice combination of soothing music and slightly up-tempo beats. Good stuff.
this is my second time buying this CD because i left my first copy in the states and i could not live without it.every single track on this CD is excellent. they all go together great, and this cd sets a great chillout mood.the best cafe del mar CD of the collection, AND one of the best lounge CDs ever. i highly recommend it, you cannot beat the price on amazon either.
